Requirements
1. Education & Credentials
Master’s degree in Speech‑Language Pathology from an accredited program
Current Georgia SLP license (or eligibility for licensure) through the Georgia Board of Examiners
ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC‑SLP) preferred; CFY candidates welcome
2. Clinical Skills & Experience
Experience working with children from infancy through adolescence
Strong knowledge of pediatric speech, language, fluency, articulation, voice, and feeding disorders
Ability to conduct standardized assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
Familiarity with evidence‑based therapeutic approaches
Experience with documentation, progress notes, and treatment planning
3. Professional Qualities
Excellent communication and collaboration skills with families and multidisciplinary teams
Ability to engage children in motivating, developmentally appropriate therapy
Strong organizational and time‑management skills
Compassionate, patient, and enthusiastic about working with children
Commitment to ongoing professional development
4. Preferred Qualifications
Experience in early intervention, schools, or outpatient pediatric clinics
Knowledge of AAC devices and alternative communication strategies
Bilingual skills (a plus but not required)
Comfort working with diverse diagnoses, including autism, developmental delays, and sensory needs
