With over two decades of experience, Amy is a highly seasoned and dedicated Speech Language Pathologist who has been making a profound impact in the field since 1999. Her wealth of experience spans the entire realm of Speech Pathology. Amy has gained extensive training in a wide range of areas, including Autism/Social Language, childhood language disorders, articulation, and phonological disorders, apraxia, narrative language development, pediatric feeding and swallowing, and early intervention. Amy is a trainer in the SCERTS methodology program. Additional trainings include SOS Feeding, Dir Floortime, Story Grammer Marker, PECS System, The Social Thinking Methodology, PROMPT, and more. 

Working across educational, clinical, and medical settings, Amy firmly believes in the power of a team approach to treating the whole child and family. As the owner of Cobb Speech and Language, she fosters a collaborative environment where clients receive the highest quality care, and families feel supported throughout their journey.

Beyond her professional pursuits, Amy finds joy in spending quality time with her husband and four children. In her moments of leisure, Amy is an avid reader. Additionally, she shares the excitement of watching UGA football games and cheering on her beloved Bulldogs. "Go Dawgs!"

Dondra Blackwell, Benefits Coordinator

Dondra Blackwell brings a wealth of experience and expertise to her role as a Benefits Coordinator, drawing from a diverse background in medical office management, practice enhancement coordination, physician recruitment, and medical coding and billing.

Dondra has spent years optimizing workflows, enhancing practice performance, and fostering positive patient experiences. Her experience as a Physician Recruiter for the HCA hospital system in Nashville, TN, has honed her skills in talent acquisition and strategic workforce planning, ensuring the right professionals are in place to deliver exceptional care.

Dondra's commitment to professional growth is evident through her NHA certification in medical coding and billing from UGA continuing education. This certification showcases her dedication to staying current with industry standards and practices, making her a valuable asset in managing benefits effectively.

Outside of her professional life, Dondra finds joy and fulfillment in her family. Married for 21 years and a proud mother of two boys (ages 18 & 16), she prioritizes spending quality time with her loved ones. Whether cheering her boys on in sports, exploring new destinations through travel, indulging in a good book, or enjoying serene moments at the lake, Dondra embraces life with enthusiasm and warmth.


Hannah is a dedicated speech-language pathologist with a passion for helping individuals find their voice and achieve communication success. She holds a Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Faulkner University, where she honed her skills and knowledge to make a meaningful impact in the lives of her clients. Prior to her masters, Hannah graduated with a Bachelor's degree from the University of West Georgia. Her expertise spans various areas, including language disorders, articulation difficulties, fluency challenges, and voice disorders.​

Beyond her professional pursuits, Hannah spends her free time, traveling to new places. When not jet-setting, she cherishes moments spent with her family, boyfriend, and close friends. Hannah's favorite place she's ever lived is St. Petersburg, Florida, where the sun, sea, and vibrant community made it feel like home. Hannah is dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of her clients, helping them build confidence and achieve their communication goals. With her unwavering commitment to excellence, she continues to be a valuable asset in the field of speech therapy.

Lindsey Isley is a highly skilled and passionate speech therapist, specializing in early intervention, augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), and feeding/swallowing therapy. She finds particular joy in working with children with autism and various genetic disorders. Lindsey's expertise extends to implementing the Sequential Oral Sensory (SOS) Approach to Feeding and Infant Driven Feeding techniques, which she utilizes to provide nurturing feeding therapy for children aged from birth to 13.

She graduated with her Masters in Communication Disorders from Auburn University in May of 2020, where she was an active member of the Auburn University Tiger Eyes Danceline for four years. As a proud Auburn alumna, she embraces the spirit of "War Eagle!" 

In her free time, Lindsey enjoys playing with her two dogs, taking dance classes, enjoying the outdoors, and indulging in her love for reading. Above all, she cherishes moments spent with her loving family. Lindsey has been happily married to her husband, Josh, for three years, and together they are the proud parents of their son Nate, who was recently welcomed in April of 2023. In addition to her dedication to speech therapy, Lindsey has a unique passion for travel. As a Travel Agent in her spare time, she strives to create special memories for her clients and their families, with a special focus on catering to the needs of clients with children with special needs.


Chase King, an Atlanta native, graduated from Colorado College in 2005 and earned his Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from the Medical College of Georgia in 2010.  He began his career as an Occupational Therapist in the school systems of New York City and Denver working with special needs children. 

His time in pediatrics has focused on Developmental Delays, Early Childhood Development and Autism Spectrum Disorder.  Chase transitioned to the other end of the life spectrum working in assisted living facilities and in skilled nursing with aging adults before returning to pediatrics. Being a child at heart, Chase makes therapy functional, interactive and fun!  He enjoys spending time in the outdoors, traveling, camping, skiing and hiking. 

Chase’s list of advanced training is extensive and includes: sensory processing disorders and treatment, executive function and regulation skills, visual processing therapy, Therapeutic Listening systems, the ZONES of regulation, Ready Bodies Learning Minds, primitive reflex integration, and the Handwriting Without Tears program.

With an impressive 29-year tenure as a speech-language pathologist, Tracie is a seasoned professional whose dedication and expertise have left an indelible mark in her field. Tracie's educational journey began with a Bachelor of Science in Communication Disorders from The University of Toledo in 1992. She continued her pursuit of knowledge by earning a Master of Science in Communication Disorders from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1994. 

Her career is highlighted by specialized training in early intervention and family-centered services, reflecting her belief in the crucial role that families play in the communication development of their loved ones. Tracie's expertise has been sharpened across a variety of settings, including outpatient services, home health, and the public school system. Tracie's commitment to advancing her field is exemplified by her role as Assistant Director of the Assistive Technology Lab at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, where she contributed to innovative approaches in speech therapy. 

Areas of expertise that drive Tracie's passion include phonological disorders, language-based learning disorders, and social skills training. Her ability to provide targeted interventions and personalized support underscores her commitment to improving the lives of her clients. Tracie's extensive experience, commitment to lifelong learning, and genuine care for her clients make her a highly respected and valued Speech Language Pathologist.


Heather "Sunny" Lampert is a passionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist, bringing over a decade of experience to her practice. She earned her degree from Brenau University in 2007, and since then, has been making a positive impact on the lives of her clients.

Sunny finds her true calling in working with children and their families. Throughout her career, she has focused on providing support and care to kids who have been impacted by foster care, helping them overcome challenges and reach their full potential. Sunny's approach to therapy is characterized by warmth, patience, and creativity. She creates a nurturing environment where children feel comfortable and motivated to engage in therapeutic activities.

Beyond her professional life, Sunny finds joy in spending quality time with her own family. Outdoor recreational activities are a favorite pastime, as she cherishes every opportunity to explore nature and create lasting memories with her loved ones. When indoors, she can be found baking goodies with her five kids and friends, spreading the joy of delicious treats. Sunny's commitment to making a difference in the lives of children and families shines brightly through her work as an Occupational Therapist.

Born and raised in Georgia, Heather has deep roots in her community, currently residing just two feet away from her childhood home. Heather earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry, graduating Cum Laude. During her studies, she demonstrated her passion for research and academic achievement as a member of TriBeta, and she even had the opportunity to explore her interest in veterinary medicine at UGA Veterinary School, where she conducted research and achieved a notable publication.

Heather's true joy lies in spending time with her cherished family. She is a proud mother of three boys and a loving wife to her husband. Their family is complete with the company of two cats and an adorable golden retriever named Scout, who brightens their lives with their companionship. Outside the realm of speech therapy, Heather indulges in horticulture and has a passion for propagating plants.

Heather's extensive experience as an Office Manager for over a decade has given her invaluable skills in bridging gaps between patients, insurance, and providers. Alongside her administrative responsibilities, Heather finds fulfillment as a provider and patient advocate, prioritizing the well-being and progress of her clients.

Tracy Medlin, OTR/L

Tracy Medlin is an experienced and committed Occupational Therapist with a passion for holistic and play-based therapy approaches. She holds two degrees, a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Marketing from Auburn University and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Occupational Therapy from MCG. 

Throughout her career, Tracy has pursued numerous certifications, including Level 1 Hippotherapy, Brain Gym, Ready Bodies Learning Minds, First Strokes Handwriting, Interactive Metronome, Manual Lymph Drain, and Drums Alive. Tracy is particularly passionate about the interplay of primitive reflex integration, sensory processing, and rhythm on brain hemisphere development. She believes in the power of play-based therapy to engage and motivate her clients, fostering meaningful progress in their development and functional skills. In her practice, Tracy embraces a holistic approach that considers the whole body and dynamic interactions within systems. Her holistic perspective and play-based therapy philosophy contribute to positive outcomes and enrich the lives of her clients.

Outside of her professional life, Tracy finds joy in spending time with her family. She is married and has two almost grown daughters, one attending the College of Charleston and the other soon to enroll at Auburn University in the Fall. Tracy's love for travel, outdoor adventures such as hiking, gardening, and exploring antique shops ("junking") reflects her vibrant and adventurous spirit.



Brianna is a passionate and experienced Speech Language Pathologist from Valdosta, GA. She pursued her education at Valdosta State University, where she sharpened her skills and knowledge in the field of speech therapy. For the past two years, Brianna alongside her husband have made their home in Cobb County.​Her dedication to her profession and love for working with children shine brightly in her practice. Brianna empowers young learners to overcome speech challenges and develop essential communication skills. Her expertise spans various areas of speech therapy, including speech sound production, language development, and pragmatics/social language.​When she's not making a difference in the lives of her clients, Brianna embraces her hobbies which include delving into captivating books. On game days, you'll find her passionately cheering for her favorite football team, and she also shares quality time with her husband on the golf course. Brianna also loves moments spent amidst nature's beauty. Brianna's commitment to her profession and her compassionate approach make her a cherished Speech Language Pathologist in the educational setting. Her unwavering dedication to her clients' progress and well-being enriches the lives of those she serves.


Marialicia brings a wealth of experience to our clinic. Originally from Caracas, Venezuela, she moved to the United States in 1981 and has been making a profound impact on the lives of children with disabilities since the age of 18. Her journey in helping others began as a former Intake Service Coordinator for Babies Can't Wait with the Cobb/Douglas Public Health Department. Marialicia's linguistic abilities are as impressive as her dedication to her profession. Fluent in both English and Spanish, she is also proficient in Portuguese, French, and Italian. This multilingual expertise allows her to embrace a team-oriented approach and connect effortlessly with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds.​With her warm and compassionate demeanor, Marialicia creates a nurturing and inclusive environment for her clients.Beyond her professional life, Marialicia finds joy in exploring the world alongside her husband, who serves as a pilot for Delta Air Lines. When not traveling the globe, you'll find Marialicia cheering fervently for UGA and Nebraska football teams or admiring the beauty of dragonflies and sunflowers. Marialicia's dedication to her clients' well-being, her multilingual expertise, and her compassionate nature make her a highly valued employee. Samantha is a highly experienced and dedicated Speech Language Pathologist. Originally from New Jersey, she made the move to Georgia in 2011 and has since become an integral part of the speech therapy community. With 12 years of experience in the field, Samantha has strengthened her expertise through diverse settings, including clinical, educational, and medical environments.​Samantha's academic journey began with a Bachelor of Science in Communication Disorders from Towson University in 2009. She furthered her education by earning a Master of Arts in Communication Disorders from Long Island University, C.W. Post, in 2011. She obtained her State of Georgia licensure and her possession of a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). Her love of working with children is fulfilled in Early Intervention as well as serving the Autism population. Samantha completed training for the PROMPT method, Beckman Oral Motor, the SOS Feeding Approach, and the Gestalt Language Processing Approach. ​Outside of her professional pursuits, Samantha finds joy in spending quality time with her husband, Nathan, and their three daughters. Samantha's extensive experience, commitment to professional growth, and nurturing nature make her a highly qualified Speech Language Pathologist.


Lisa is an accomplished and dedicated Speech Language Pathologist with over a decade of experience. Having entered the field in 2009, she has developed a diverse skill set that covers various areas of speech pathology.
Her expertise extends to several key areas, including Autism, Articulation and Phonological Disorders, Childhood Language Disorders, Narrative Language Development, Pragmatic/Social Language, and Traumatic Brain Injury. As an SOS Approach to Feeding Trained Professional, she possesses specialized skills in addressing feeding challenges. Throughout her career, Lisa has had the privilege of working in educational, clinical, and medical settings, gaining valuable insights into the unique needs and challenges of her clients.​Beyond her professional pursuits, Lisa cherishes the time spent with her two precious daughters, who fill her life with joy, laughter, and wonderful memories. With her warm and compassionate approach, Lisa establishes meaningful connections with her clients, fostering a supportive environment for growth and progress. She is excited to embark on a journey of communication enhancement with each individual she works with.
